Hi I have aquired an old Carl Zeiss Jena Zielsechs which I would love to get mounted on my K98(year 1939). However I'm not sure of what base and mounts I need. I only have the scope as seen in the pictures, thus I would need both mounts and bases, It looks like they are LM rails, however the front rail are of a different dimension than the one at the back. The front railing measures 16.69mm at the bottom and 13.67mm at the top. The back railing measures 14.89mm at the bottom and 11.11mm at the top. I hope you can help me find a mount that I can use with this rifle setup. Thank you in advance for your answer.

We kindly apologize for the late reply which is a result of increased demand for our services.

According to the pictures attached, your riflescope indeed comes with the LM rail for mounting purposes. Due to differences in railing widths, a custom mounting solution would have to be made in order to fit perfectly on the rifle. However, in theory, you could try fitting the Recknagel Mount Rings with bases onto both sides of the narrower rail (the 14.89mm rail at the bottom of the tube), as the length seems to be sufficient.
