Good

Likes, clean produced, fit to zkm 611 dovetail. As far as I installed it 2 front screws works like a small press ,at back side 2 ones works as stopper being penetrate to the groove at the end of rifle's dovetail. Overall -pairings excellent, no gap.

Rusan Picatinny rail for cz 527

Product is well executed. Mechanical processing and surface treatment show no defects or imperfections.<br><br>However the measurements are approximate, the slide protrudes by about 1.5mm in the back (see photo)<br><br>The 4 fixing screws are short and the rear left one coincides with the original CZ locking hole, with the result of using very few threads. (see photo)<br>I modified by inserting a metal thickness to remedy the problem (see photo)<br><br>Attention BH height of the base is about 8.5 mm not 5.5 as written.

They are good but with some disadvantages

Hi dear, <br><br>I am a customer of Rusan products and i like this brand, but i feel your picatinny rail for CZ 527 and overally for 16mm dovetail has some disadvantages:<br><br>1. It should be mounted on a small bore rifle, steel rail is heavy for such fine and light weight guns, i think aluminum is more suitable <br><br>2. Over the rail of Brno 2 and Zkw 465 there are some engraving marks and if your picatinny rail is fixed with vertical screws like your rail for CZ 550, these marks may be scrached, i think laterally locking screws like what recknagel produced for CZ 550 is more suitable.<br><br>Sincerely yours<br>Mahyar

Hi. I have a CZ 527 and a Zeiss V4 6-24x50 scope and I'm looking for mounting options for this combination. To achive proper eye releaf I need to mount the scope a bit forward which in turn positions the scope turret slightly over the front dovetailbase making it impossible to use regular 16mm dovetail rings. So I'd like to mount a picatinny or similar solution and by that making it possible to have the scope mounted a bit forward with a comfortable eyereleaf. And of course the BH is also a factor, ideally I'd like to have the scope as low as possible with a BH of 15-16 mm. I hope you guys can give me advice on this matter and a porpouse a snug mount option for me. Kind Regards.

Your total BH height should be at least 14 mm high in order to work comfortably. The BH height of the Picatinny rail is around 6 mm which means that you still require roughly around 8 mm of BH height with the rings. You can take a look at the rings on the page below.
